Since regulations may change, it is always best to confirm current requirements through the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mfa.am\/en\/visa\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.mfa.am\/en\/visa\/\">Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia<\/a><\/strong> or an Armenian diplomatic mission before traveling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visa Types at a Glance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Armenia issues several types of visas, including <strong>diplomatic, official, transit, and tourist<\/strong> visas.<br>Most visitors entering Armenia for short- or medium-term stays use a <strong>tourist visa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tourist visas can be issued for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Up to <strong>21 days<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to <strong>120 days<\/strong>, with the possibility of extension<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visa fees are paid in Armenian drams (AMD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visa Fees<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visa fees are paid in Armenian drams (AMD) and depend on the type and duration of the visa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Transit visa<\/strong> (single entry, up to 3 days): 10,000 AMD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tourist visa<\/strong> (single entry, up to 21 days): 3,000 AMD<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Tourist visa<\/strong> (single entry, up to 120 days): 15,000 AMD<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fees may vary depending on nationality and visa type, so it\u2019s best to confirm the final amount when applying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Obtain a Visa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can apply for an Armenian visa in one of the following ways:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Through an Armenian consular service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon arrival at the airport or another border entry point<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online via the official <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/evisa.mfa.am\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/evisa.mfa.am\/\">e-visa system<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">E-visas are usually processed within <strong>three working days<\/strong>. Your passport should be valid for at least <strong>one month<\/strong> beyond your intended stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Visa Extension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you wish to stay longer, visa extensions are processed <strong>only within Armenia<\/strong> and must be completed before your visa expires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Extensions are handled by the Passport and Visa Department in Davtashen, Yerevan. Visa extensions are not available at Zvartnots International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Expired Visa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Staying in Armenia with an expired visa may result in an administrative fine and, in some cases, restrictions on future entry.
