When a Space Becomes More Than a Space: Hosting RockTalk
Last Sunday evening, Yerevan Coworking hosted RockTalk.
We pushed the desks aside and a small group showed up not to work, but to actually talk. About self-care that isn’t just buying stuff. About hieroglyphs and how humans communicate. About Sapiens and the patterns we keep repeating.
The evening unfolded around three themes that, on the surface, seemed quite different, but somehow wove together into a rich tapestry of human curiosity:
RockTalk came to us for an evening, an experimental gathering of meaningful conversation where participants brought their own topics. We didn’t know what to expect, but we wanted to see what happens when you give people space for genuine dialogue.
Three Topics, One Beautiful Thread
Self-Care Beyond the Instagram Version
We stripped away the commercialized version of self-care (yes, the face masks and “treat yourself” culture) and dug into what actually nourishes us. What does caring for yourself look like when it’s not about buying something? The conversation touched on boundaries, emotional honesty, intentional living, and the difference between numbing and healing. It got real.
The Language of Hieroglyphs
One participant guided us through a fascinating exploration of how ancient symbols shape the way we understand the world. How does meaning change when expressed through images rather than words? What do we lose , and gain, when we communicate through form? It became a meditation on art, interpretation, and the countless ways humans try to say what matters most.
Sapiens and the Patterns We Can’t Escape
A reflection on Yuval Noah Harari’s famous book led us into questions about evolution, culture, and the loops humanity keeps running. Are we learning? Growing? Repeating ourselves? The discussion moved from ancient history to modern life with surprising ease, reminding us that understanding where we’ve been helps us see where we’re going.

What Made It Work
The group was small. The format was loose. But the atmosphere? Warm, sincere, engaged. People who came “just to listen” found themselves sharing. The mix of philosophy, psychology, art, and history kept things dynamic. And most importantly, everyone left feeling a little more connected, to ideas, to each other, to themselves.
It reminded us of something we already know but sometimes forget: people are hungry for meaningful conversation. Not small talk. Not transactional exchanges. Real dialogue.

Why We’re Telling You This
Because Yerevan Coworking isn’t just a place to work. It’s a place where things can happen.
Yes, we have desks, wifi, coffee, and all the practical things you need to get stuff done. But we also have something less tangible: an atmosphere that invites more. The soft lighting, the comfortable corners, the sense that this space wants you to create, connect, and explore.
RockTalk happened here because the space allowed it to. And we think your idea, whatever it is — could happen here too.

Your Event Could Be Next
Maybe you’ve been thinking about hosting a book club. A creative workshop. A discussion series. A intimate gathering for your community. A product launch that feels personal, not corporate. A celebration that’s meaningful, not just loud.
The beauty of a coworking space is that it’s designed to be flexible. It shapes itself around what you need. And unlike a café (too noisy) or someone’s apartment (too cramped) or a formal venue (too stiff), it strikes that rare balance of being professional yet welcoming, spacious yet intimate.

We’d love to help you bring your vision to life.
Whether you’re planning something small and experimental like RockTalk, or something more structured, we’re here to make it easy. You bring the idea and the people. We’ll provide the space, the atmosphere, and the support.
And we’re opening our doors to anyone who wants to create something meaningful here.
